while i was in townsville last week with the wright’s, this little fella kept poking his head through the timber slats… the area was dark, and it was striking to see this bright green frog, on the timber background..

this one of mum first ever quilts.. hand stitched in 1990, it’s almost 20 years old. the photo in the foreground is from a day at the races 1973.. this is my mum (denise 25), me (3), and grandma wright.

tangalooma wrecks – dolphin edition

it was the end of the tangalooma 2009 trip, and I was getting in my last photo’s of the wrecks before we boarded the barge home. and as i took the photo, the dolphin surfaced for a breath, and then swam away.. it was an amazing photo opportunity, right place, right time..

this is my mom’s mother and father, shortly after world war II. noel and phyllis wright. grandpa passed away earlier this year on the Jan 6th, 2009 aged 89

brisbane city by night

this is brisbane city by night, from mt coot-tha.. mt coot-tha lookout provides a wonderful place to look out over brisbane, and the view at night is amazing. mt coot-tha is also home to brisbane’s four free to air television stations.

denise lawson

here is mum in her younger years B.K (before kids), as bridesmaid at a friends wedding.. 20.1.1948 – 29.03.2007.. sunday was two years since mum passed away.. i love you more than ever mum, and miss you dearly. parting is temporary, you will be in my heart for eternity.
