<p>drawing classes are coming to an end at the end of next month..</p>

<p>this was our first week back at drawing class after a 3 week break..</p>

<p>our first drawing on the night was of a rock, sea sponge, and a coconut.. this was the second&#8230; two bears.. i big white one, and small brown one..</p>

<p>this weeks lesson was tone drawings.. firstly we had to practice the art of shading from dark to light.. </p>
<p>to do that we attempted to gray scale with 11 steps..</p>
<p>secondly we had a black and white photo of an apple with a dark background.. the light shone on the top left of the apple, while the bottom right blended in to the background.. i it quite hard to get that gradual shading from black to very light gray, and white in some of the droplets of water on the apple..</p>
<p>yes yes i know what your saying, there are no water droplets.. i need to practice more..</p>
