pixie rain harvest
i was in bundaberg on the weekend, wandering through town when i stumbled upon an amazing pixie “rain harvest” garden. now i know what your thinking, pixies are usually found in your backyard, well that’s exactly what i was thinking, what the yell were they doing downtown… anyways these rain drop pixies (some sort of relation to Peter Pan) were extremely friendly, and as you will see in this photo, they were most helpful with this unique photographic angle.
s.e queensland is currently in a 1 in a 100 year drought, and as such rain is a much sort after commodity. after the rain this morning the pixies were on a mission to get as many rain drops stored before they evaporated. they were ever so kind as to down tools for a couple of minutes to let me take this photo.

love the way you’ve captured the rain drops in this the pic. the angle, light and colour all work well in this photo.
