Happy mothers day mum. I miss u heaps. You have such a beautiful warm smile, and it pains me knowing I won’t see that smile in person anymore. Your smile, your warmth, and your love lives on in my heart, and you are in my thoughts every day.

Here is another quilt by Denise Lawson. This has only recently been unearthed, and is believed to be quite valuable. Pioneering a new quilting technique “mashup”, Denise pieced together parts of previous quilts to garner this timeless creation.

Over the coming weeks we will be featuring a few quilts from the Denise Lawson Collection.
This quilt “My Country Home” has that certain country feel, a theme she incorporated a lot into her work.
