Local golfing hacker & UQ identity Shooter McLawson scorched his way round the St Lucia Golf Links yesterday in -1 under par.

TP of the round was his FDOD (first drive of day), which sailed effortlessly down the middle of the 9th fairway. Recovering from this small hiccup Shooter chipped & putted his way to golfing nirvana. Staying calm, cool & collected during this scorching round enabled McLawson to outwit & outplay his golfing partners BBB & GForce.

This round equaled his previous best of -1 under at Virginia (2002), where he partnered Wally Wolter, Ben Brown (BBB) & Don Brown. On that day Shooter was fired up by trouble makers in a later group. Partner Don was heard to mumble “You & Wally can’t fight, the only thing you could do would be to drink’ em to death”. Ha Ha good one Don.

The Legends of Karapiro (Alan’s Bar Edition) has just been released. All of Karapio’s local legends are here Dale, Alan, Neal, Donna, Chris, Rach and of course (up & coming legends) Joele, Georgina & Olivia..
